AE Wins "Climate Lighthouse" Award Again, Empowering Green Intelligent Manufacturing with Highly Flexible AE-iCube Solution

Recently, the 2026 Shanghai Climate Week series of events was successfully held in Shanghai. As an international platform jointly initiated by over a thousand global ecological partners and supported by the United Nations and the Chinese government, Shanghai Climate Week adheres to the principle of "China Action, Asian Voice, Global Standard." It serves not only as an important hub for exchanges and cooperation on global climate change but also actively participates in shaping and guiding international rules. During the event, the results of the "Climate Lighthouse" initiative were unveiled, and Automotive Engineering Corporation stood out among numerous entries with its "Lean Green Painting Production Based on Highly Flexible AE-iCube" solution, winning the award for an outstanding innovation case.

According to reports, a total of 42 "Climate Lighthouse" exemplary cases covering sustainable practices across multiple industries were released during the event, with a focus on climate-friendly transformation driven by intelligent manufacturing and digital technologies. Following the recognition of the "AE Painting Workshop Low-Carbon Solution" in 2025, this marks the second consecutive year that CAE has received this honor.

Faced with the automotive industry's demand for multi-variety, customized, and low-energy-consumption production, AE has innovatively overcome the traditional bottlenecks of painting production, creating a new painting production system centered on the AE-iCube automated storage and retrieval system. This solution reconstructs workshop layouts and intelligent logistics systems, integrating multiple self-developed green flexible painting equipment. From production layout and equipment integration to production modes, it achieves intelligent, intensive, and low-carbon technological innovation across the board.

In terms of production mode, AE has pioneered a dual lean production system, deeply tapping into the potential for carbon and energy reduction. The "Tidal Production Mode" leverages the AE-iCube automated storage and retrieval system's buffering and scheduling capabilities to optimize the operating time of high-energy-consuming process equipment and effectively improve production line utilization, thereby significantly reducing overall energy consumption and carbon emissions in the workshop. The "Order-Decoupling Production Mode," on the other hand, employs intelligent scheduling and consolidated painting by color family to markedly improve painting quality, while effectively reducing the consumption of paint and solvent materials and minimizing hazardous waste emissions, ultimately achieving multiple benefits of enhanced quality, cost reduction, and carbon reduction.

As a leading enterprise in automotive industrial engineering and a "chain leader" in the industry, AE's consecutive recognition by the authoritative Shanghai Climate Week awards highlights the industry's high regard for its green technology capabilities and low-carbon achievements. Looking ahead, AE will continue to deepen its expertise in green intelligent manufacturing, iteratively upgrade core technologies and solutions, and work with partners to build a forward-looking climate governance ecosystem, contributing core strength to the green transformation and upgrading of the automotive manufacturing industry and the national "dual-carbon" goals.
