Dai Min Leads a Delegation for On-Site Inspection of Projects in Germany and Hungary

From April 23 to 24, Dai Min, Chairman of Sinomach Auto and Automotive Engineering Corporation, visited project sites in Germany and Hungary for on-site inspections and discussions. Wang Zhiping, Deputy General Manager and Director of the Overseas Operations Center of Automotive Engineering Corporation, accompanied the delegation.

At the Düsseldorf automotive factory in Germany, Dai Min and his team conducted a thorough inspection of the painting line project, where they listened to feedback from the project owner regarding project execution and held discussions. The project owner highly praised Automotive Engineering Corporation for its performance in project execution, on-site management, and quality control, recognized the project team's achievements in overcoming challenges and steadily advancing work, and discussed potential challenges and responses for subsequent tasks. Dai Min stated that Automotive Engineering Corporation will fully advance project execution, ensure contractual delivery, and strive to make this project a best-practice model that meets high European standards while integrating Chinese experience, achieving win-win results.

During the subsequent internal meeting, Dai Min noted that the Düsseldorf painting project exhibits the typical characteristics of "going into deep waters," and serves as a landmark project in AE's continuous expansion into the high-end European market, where challenges and opportunities coexist. He urged the project team to raise their level of understanding and strengthen management and control, applying proactive, systematic, compliant, and risk-conscious thinking to ensure the high-quality delivery of the project.

As the largest ongoing project for Automotive Engineering Corporation in Europe, the construction progress of the Szeged automotive factory in Hungary has drawn significant attention. Dai Min and his delegation conducted an in-depth on-site inspection of the painting workshop, final assembly workshop, and the factory's integrated cabling works.

This project is a typical "going overseas with the ship" project, which imposes high requirements based on European standards and local characteristics, and also presents significant challenges. Since the start of the project, AE has earnestly put into practice its principles of "standardized, lean, scientific, and efficient" management, with project execution and control proving effective, and the project progressing as planned.

During the inspection, Dai Min and his team extended their regards to both Chinese and local staff at the project sites, strengthening cohesion and boosting team morale. They also held in-depth discussions with the project teams on safety management, schedule control, quality assurance, compliance and risk management, sustainability, and project value, providing specific guidance and recommendations.

In line with AE's strategic planning and brand-building objectives, Dai Min outlined four key directions for AE's overseas development:

· Anchor Strategic Positioning and Serve the Overall Development. Deeply recognize the strategic importance of expanding into the European market. Strengthen the team through hands-on project experience and talent cultivation, building an overseas workforce that is "multi-skilled, capable of contributing across all roles, and possesses an international perspective." Use projects as platforms to incubate technology, talent, and systems, thereby developing replicable, mature market experience.

· Uphold Safety as the Bottom Line and Strengthen Risk Control. Adhering to the principle of "safety first and systematic governance," fully integrate mature domestic safety management practices with local regulations and standards abroad, continuously improve the overseas project safety management system, and build a solid line of defense for safe production.

· Deepen ESG Governance and Promote Sustainable Development. Embed ESG principles throughout the management of projects and subsidiaries/branches, emphasize process-oriented management, and strengthen localized operations and cross-cultural integration, thereby achieving alignment between economic and social benefits, and ensuring that corporate development and local win-win outcomes mutually reinforce each other.

· Commit to Long-Term Growth and Deepen Engagement in Overseas Markets. With a long-term perspective and persistent effort, firmly implement the "go global" strategy to expand markets, the "go local" approach to establish a strong local presence, and the "go upstream" initiative to comprehensively enhance soft power, thereby achieving the objectives of AE's 15th Five-Year Plan to strengthen capabilities and drive business development with internationalization as the core focus.

Currently, AE is at a critical stage of international development. AE will build on project execution to comprehensively enhance its international capabilities, continuously strengthen local support, emphasize collaboration and cross-cultural management, and optimize project management systems tailored to different overseas markets. Through high-quality project delivery, AE will support the achievement of its global clients' strategic objectives, while also advancing the exploration and practice of transitioning from "projects going abroad" to "value going abroad".
