AE Wins the Bid for BAIC New Energy "STELATO" Super Factory Painting Project
Recently, Automotive Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "AE") successfully won the bid for the technical upgrade and renovation project of the painting production line at BAIC New Energy's STELATO Super Factory.
The project is located at the Beijing Miyun production base, a high-end intelligent new energy vehicle facility jointly developed by BAIC New Energy and Huawei. It serves as the core support for the industrialization of high-end platform models and the digital-intelligence enhancement of production lines at the STELATO Super Factory. As an emerging high-end intelligent electric vehicle brand, STELATO has continued to gain market recognition through the strategic synergy of "automaker+Huawei full technology ecosystem."
The STELATO Super Factory integrates internationally advanced manufacturing concepts and incorporates multiple cutting-edge intelligent manufacturing technologies while actively responding to national environmental policies, aiming to create a green, low-carbon, and sustainable production environment. As the EPC contractor, AE will provide integrated services covering the shop's core process equipment and civil and utility works. The paint shop construction scope includes the removal and reconstruction of secondary painting equipment and optimization and upgrading of the painting process, aiming to comprehensively enhance intelligence, sustainability, and flexibility, while implementing targeted adaptations for the introduction of BE22 3.0 high-end platform models.
This successful bid marks another deep collaboration between AE and BAIC Group, following previous joint projects for off-road vehicles, Zhenjiang, Zhuzhou, Shunyi Mercedes, and Xiangjie Phase I production lines. Looking ahead, AE will leverage its technological leadership and extensive project experience in intelligent manufacturing and green innovation to continue providing full-process value-added services characterized by high quality, cost efficiency, short delivery cycles, and enhanced value, supporting the upgrading of China's high-end new energy vehicle manufacturing system and promoting the industry's continuous advancement toward intelligence and sustainability.
