Recently, Automotive Engineering Corporation was invited to São Paulo, Brazil, to participate in a special industry exhibition hosted by General Motors (GM) South American Technical Center. Shilpan Amin, Global Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement and Supply Chain Officer of GM, attended this event. The morning session focused on the connection of the core circle of the supply chain: GM Brazil invited the top 50 Tier 1 suppliers and 7 global automation partners to participate in the exhibition. The afternoon session focused on in-depth discussions of intelligent manufacturing technologies: In a special session for GM's internal senior executives, all participants engaged in in-depth dialogues on core topics such as manufacturing engineering, vehicle assembly, factory operations, and equipment maintenance, with a focus on optimal solutions for global automation, smart factories, and logistics.
