Overseas Open Innovation Initiates New Exploration! Automotive Engineering Corporation Collaborates with Oregon State University on Experimental Project
Recently, Automotive Engineering Corporation‘s US subsidiary collaborated deeply with Oregon State University (OSU). Both parties focused on cutting-edge automation technology and jointly launched a Capstone experimental project named "JUST-IN-TIME DELIVERY." The project aims to address bottlenecks in manual or semi-automated material feeding at production stations to unlock production potential.

The Capstone project is a comprehensive learning project in higher education aimed at allowing students to demonstrate and apply their acquired knowledge and skills through a practical and integrated task in the final stages of their academic journey.
During the collaboration, Automotive Engineering Corporation, leveraging its deep technical expertise, provided clear direction for the project and offered professional technical guidance and equipment supply. This ensured a close alignment of the project with practical production scenarios. Oregon State University contributed a dedicated team of five outstanding students who used advanced modeling and simulation technologies to meticulously develop a prototype of the equipment and conduct simulation tests during the project delivery phase. The project made a stunning debut at the Engineering Event held at Oregon State University in June 2024, receiving high praise from industry experts. It was prominently featured on OSU's official website, highlighting its success and impact.

As the automotive industry rapidly advances towards higher levels of intelligence, automation, and flexibility, this project focuses on developing an automated material handling solution for production stations. It aims to completely replace existing manual or semi-automated processes, achieving a significant leap in production efficiency and quality. The project is distinguished by its features, including 100% automation rate and uptime, outstanding capabilities in intelligent material recognition, sorting, and transmission, as well as the ability to adapt to limited installation spaces. These attributes lay a solid foundation for the automotive industry to move towards a more expansive future.

The leadership at Oregon State University has highly praised Automotive Engineering Corporation for its outstanding innovative spirit, active social contributions, and meticulous nurturing of the next generation of engineers in the industry. They have acknowledged Automotive Engineering Corporation's dedication to research and innovation, expressing anticipation for the continued deepening of cooperation between the two parties to explore more unknown frontiers together.

Over the past decade, Automotive Engineering Corporation has diligently cultivated its presence in the North American market, steadily increasing its project portfolio and expanding its brand influence within the automotive industry in North America. The collaboration with Oregon State University marks a significant milestone in Automotive Engineering Corporation's strategy for open innovation and brand expansion overseas. It further enhances Automotive Engineering Corporation's visibility and influence in the North American market, injecting strong momentum into its international strategic layout of "Two Zones and One Line." This development will better support the high-quality growth of Automotive Engineering Corporation's overseas business operations.
