Two Projects of Automotive Engineering Corporation Win the National Quality Engineering Award


Recently, the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management launched the Decision to Grant the 2022−2023 National Quality Engineering Award. BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd.'s Product Upgrade Project (Dadong Factory Area) NEX Vehicle Body Workshop (Phase II) Project and the Package Project of Graphics and Text Information Center and Underground Garage (I) Phase I of Luoyang Polytechnic's New Campus, both of which Automotive Engineering Corporation participated in, won the "National Quality Engineering Award".

 

 

Set up in 1981, the National Quality Engineering Award is a cross-industry and interdisciplinary national-level quality award that was established earliest and is of the highest level in the engineering construction field in China, and is the highest honor in engineering construction quality.

Located in Dadong District, Shenyang, Liaoning Province, the Brilliance BMW NEX Vehicle Body Workshop (Phase II) Project is an expansion project of the original vehicle body workshop with a factory area of 470,000 square meters and a gross floor area of approximately 73,000 square meters. Automotive Engineering Corporation undertook the engineering design work of the project. The project is designed in accordance with the dual standards of China and Germany, with innovative design concepts characterized by high efficiency and energy conservation, green and environmental protection, user friendliness, informatization, land conservation, maximum flexibility, high reliability, modularization, BIM application, etc., and maximally meets the use needs of the owner, thus becoming a new benchmark in the automotive manufacturing industry.

 

 

The Package Project of Graphics and Text Information Center and Underground Garage (I) Phase I of Luoyang Polytechnic's New Campus is located in Yibin District, Luoyang, Henan Province with a gross floor area of approximately 59,000 square meters and a building height of 48.45 meters. Automotive Engineering Corporation undertook the engineering supervision work of the project. The Graphics and Text Information Center in the project features large overhang height, large overhang length, and a large amount of steel structures installed, whose safety and quality were effectively ensured by the project team of Automotive Engineering Corporation through emerging technologies such as 3D measurement technology and BIM technology.

 

 

The awards to the two projects are a high recognition of the professional strength, technical capacity, and service level of Automotive Engineering Corporation.
