Government delegation of Extremadura, Spain visits AE for exchanges
On September 20, Guillermo Santamaría Galdón, Minister of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, Spain, led a delegation to visit AE. Yao Lepeng, deputy general manager of the company, and Geng Yanhui, director and deputy chief engineer, attended. The two sides held talks on topics such as deepening cooperation in Europe and Latin America and sharing industrial resources.
The delegation first visited the company's Zhongbei automotive painting equipment R&D and manufacturing center for an on-site tour, and then went to the company headquarters, where they toured the corporate exhibition hall and learned in detail about AE's development history, core technological achievements, and global business layout. During the discussion session, representatives of the Government of Extremadura gave a detailed introduction to local industrial investment policies, industrial land reserves, renewable energy supply, and the region's outstanding strategic location advantages. Yao Lepeng delivered a speech on behalf of the company, systematically introducing AE's overseas development strategy and overseas project track record, and fully demonstrated the company's comprehensive service advantages and industry-leading position as an international engineering company.
During the talks, heads of the painting, general assembly, welding, and construction business segments gave special presentations in turn on overseas business, especially on the expansion of the European market. The two sides held full exchanges on potential cooperation opportunities and reached an important consensus at multiple levels. AE looks forward to serving as a mutually reinforcing platform connecting the automotive industry development of China and Spain, and to further strengthening cooperation with the Extremadura region in Europe and Latin America. It also expressed its willingness to actively participate in the 4th Extremadura Electric Vehicle and Green Hydrogen Forum in 2027 to further expand international cooperation in the field of green energy.
The Government of Extremadura spoke highly of this visit. The delegation expressed admiration for AE's professional capabilities, overseas expansion strategy, and achievements to date. They considered that AE's full-chain service advantages in painting, general assembly, welding, and battery fields are highly aligned with the industrial upgrading needs of Europe, and looked forward to further strengthening cooperation and achieving resource sharing between the two sides in Europe and Latin America in the future. This visit not only consolidated the foundation of mutual trust between AE and the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, but also opened a new path for the company to further expand into the European market and deepen international industrial cooperation.
