Pacific Precision Forging Thailand Plant Project of Automotive Engineering Corporation officially commissioned
Recently, the commissioning ceremony for the Pacific Precision Forging Thailand Plant Project undertaken by Automotive Engineering Corporation was held at the Pinthong Industrial Estate in Rayong Province, Thailand. Xia Weijiang, Director of Automotive Engineering Corporation, Li Yiwei, and other relevant department representatives were invited to attend the ceremony.
As the first overseas production base of Pacific Precision Forging, the Thailand plant represents a key implementation project under the company's global expansion strategy. Phase I of the project commenced construction in January 2024 and was successfully delivered to a high standard in October 2025, with commissioning now smoothly completed. The facility is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of core components for electric drive transmission systems, including differential gears and gear shafts, for new energy vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and battery electric vehicles.
As the EPC general contractor of the project, Automotive Engineering Corporation has maintained over 20 years of close cooperation with Pacific Precision Forging, and the two parties have established a long-term strategic partnership based on mutual benefit and win-win collaboration. Throughout the project construction and delivery process, Automotive Engineering Corporation earned high recognition from the client with its full-lifecycle engineering service capabilities and efficient project management. On December 30, 2025, Pacific Precision Forging awarded Automotive Engineering Corporation the title of "Sincere Cooperation Partner," and granted the project team the honor of "Outstanding Project Team," highly commending Automotive Engineering Corporation as "not only a builder, but also a strategic partner."
The successful commissioning of the Thailand plant marks a significant milestone in the project's construction process. It represents an important outcome of the joint overseas expansion and deepened cooperation between both parties, and also serves as a landmark project supporting the Belt and Road Initiative and promoting the internationalization of China's automotive industrial chain layout. Looking ahead, Automotive Engineering Corporation will continue to empower Pacific Precision Forging's global development through lean design and high-quality engineering delivery, further deepen their comprehensive strategic cooperation, and jointly create a new chapter of high-quality development.
