Automotive Engineering Corporation Awarded the Frame Rail Production Line Project for BAIC Foton's Changsha Super Truck Plant
Recently, Sinomach Foundry and Metal Forming, a subsidiary of Automotive Engineering Corporation, was awarded the frame rail production line project for BAIC Foton's Changsha Super Truck Plant.

Located in Changsha, Hunan Province, the project features a frame rail roll forming line developed under an "overall planning with phased implementation" approach. The highly automated production line significantly reduces manual intervention and enables efficient coordination throughout the entire frame rail manufacturing process. While ensuring product quality, it also improves production efficiency and reduces overall manufacturing costs. The frame rail roll forming line supports automatic changeover for products of different specifications. Upon completion of the Phase I core production line, the project will rapidly achieve production ramp-up, with an annual production capacity of up to 60,000 units after commissioning. Following the commissioning of Phase II, its flexible manufacturing capability will be further enhanced to support future capacity expansion and mixed-model production.
Building on the successful execution of the Zhucheng Foton and Beijing Mercedes-Benz projects, Automotive Engineering Corporation has once again strengthened its partnership with BAIC Foton. This latest collaboration further underscores the proven technical expertise and solid market reputation of its casting & forging business in delivering integrated equipment solutions for commercial vehicle frame manufacturing.
