Grand Ceremony Marks AEC-SEW Agreement Signing and SEW F5 Project Commencement
On May 29, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Fifth Factory (F5 Factory) Project of SEW Industrial Gears (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was held in Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA). Zhang Shengli, Executive Chairman of SEW China; Ma Jianjun, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of TEDA; Dai Min, Chairman of Sinomach Automobile and AEC; Zhang Bo, Deputy General Manager of AEC; along with leaders from the TEDA Management Committee and all participating parties, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

Prior to the groundbreaking ceremony, AEC and SEW China signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement. As leading forces in their respective industries, the cooperation between the two parties has long transcended traditional supply-demand relationships. From early-stage drive system matching to today's strategic-level binding, the two parties have clarified four major collaboration directions: technological collaborative innovation, engineering construction linkage, market expansion in tandem, and brand value co-creation. They have also established a joint working group, adhering to the combination of "specific project contract agreements" and "framework agreement guidance," to ensure that every cooperation yields tangible results. As the first landmark project for the strategic implementation of both parties, the commencement of the F5 Factory Project of SEW Industrial Gears (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. will inject strong momentum into the regional intelligent manufacturing industry upgrade.
The F5 Factory Project of SEW Tianjin, launched immediately following the strategic signing, is the first core vehicle for the implementation of current cooperation. During his speech at the groundbreaking ceremony, Zhang Shengli stated that the F5 Project, which began planning in the second half of 2025, has seen rapid progress and full readiness across all tasks in 2026, thanks to the support from all parties. He extended gratitude to the AEC design team and all participating units for their diligent efforts. He expressed hope that all builders would unite their efforts, adhere to high standards, strict requirements, safety assurance, and quality guarantee, and turn the F5 Project into a model and benchmark project for Tianjin.

Dai Min stated in his speech that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement and the groundbreaking of the F5 Factory are two concurrent happy events, representing a new upgrade of cooperation between the two parties following the Foshan Project. AEC will aim to "surpass Foshan Project, benchmark against Germany Project, and create an industrial art-level quality project," working closely and efficiently with SEW to fully build the project into a benchmark for China's intelligent manufacturing, standing tall in the coastal manufacturing highland.

During the ceremony, Zeng Yonghui, Assistant General Manager of AEC, and relevant department heads participated in related activities.
