PPF’s Thailand EPC Forging Project Completes Acceptance

Recently, the EPC project for NEV gears undertaken by AE for PPF (Thailand) has completed its acceptance.

Jiangsu Pacific Precision Forging Technology Co., Ltd. (PPF) is an industry leader specializing in the manufacturing of automotive gears. Its precision-forged gear production and sales rank first in China and among the top two globally. The company supplies precision-forged gears to well-known domestic and international automakers, including Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, GM, Toyota, Nissan, SAIC, and GAC. It is also a core supplier of differential assemblies for a globally renowned EV brand.

As the first overseas factory of PPF, the project is located in the Pinthong Industrial Park, Rayong Province, Thailand, covering an area of approx. 160 mu (10.67 ha). Phase I has a planned construction area of about 38,000 square meters, including production workshops for machining, forging, and heat treatment, as well as supporting facilities such as a combined station, sewage treatment station, guardhouse, and canteen. The project aims to establish a full-process production line for key components of NEV differential gears and gear shafts, with a designed annual production capacity of 12 million gears upon full operation.

AE and PPF have collaborated for over 20 years. The project officially commenced in January 2024. Building on their long-standing trust and partnership, both parties worked closely to ensure the high-quality and smooth delivery of the project by October this year. As a key strategic move in PPF’s global expansion, the completion and operation of this project will significantly enhance its overseas supply chain capabilities, providing high-performance, lightweight gear products to the Southeast Asian new energy vehicle market.
