Automotive Engineering Corporation and Siemens Conduct High-level Visit and Exchanges
On September 15, Wang Haibin, Executive Vice President of Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. and General Manager of the Digital Industry Group, led a delegation comprising heads of the Digital Industry Group, Advanta Consulting, and Digital Industry Software to conduct a high-level visit and exchange at Automotive Engineering Corporation. Dai Min, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sinomach Automobile and Automotive Engineering Corporation, along with Party Committee members and Deputy General Managers Zhang Jijun, Wang Zhiping, and Yao Lepeng, participated in the discussions.

This exchange visit marks another in-depth discussion following the strategic dialogue between senior executives of both parties in December 2024. It represents a further mutual empowerment in management and innovation capabilities between Siemens and Automotive Engineering Corporation. Both parties will embark on a new chapter of leap from traditional cooperation to value co-creation through this forward-thinking collision and strategic synergy, laying the strategic foundation for building a globally competitive industrial ecosystem.
At the exchange meeting, Dai Min welcomed the visit of the Siemens (China) team. The person in charge of relevant work at Siemens gave a keynote speech and shared practical experiences on the topics of digitalization and internationalization, respectively. Both sides then engaged in in-depth discussions on specific issues.
On the digitalization topic, Wang Haibin delivered the opening speech titled "Siemens Digital Industries: Rooted in China, Co-creating Value." Zhang Qiang shared Siemens' exploratory practices in innovation management and digital business incubation, while Qi Feng provided insights and analysis on how Siemens supports Automotive Engineering Corporation in leading the digital construction of smart factories. Both parties focused on discussing the design of R&D innovation governance mechanisms, intellectual property protection, and risk mitigation, as well as directions and implementation measures for digital transformation.
On the internationalization topic, Feng Yuye shared Siemens' global practices and experience in international governance, Bie Yonghui summarized the trends in Chinese enterprises' globalization under the theme "Adapting to Local Contexts, Committed to Innovation.", and Chen Bihui shared Siemens' practical experiences in enhancing supply chain resilience. Both parties focused on discussing the division of responsibilities and authorities in international governance, local-compliant operations, global supply chain development, and risk mitigation measures.
At the conclusion of the discussions, Wang Haibin stated in his closing remarks that, as strategic partners, Siemens looks forward to continuously deepening communication and collaboration with Automotive Engineering Corporation, sharing resources, leveraging complementary strengths, co-creating value, and advancing hand-in-hand throughout the "15th Five-Year Plan" period and beyond. Dai Min highly praised the constructive nature of this exchange – professional, sincere, and open – emphasizing that this mutual visit is not only a deeper extension of the "15th Five-Year Plan" strategic consultation, but also an upgrade of the collaboration model from project-based cooperation to strategic co-creation. He expressed the expectation that both sides will jointly achieve more exemplary and benchmark-setting collaborative outcomes in the future.
During the exchange, Wang Haibin and his delegation visited the special exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary of Automotive Engineering Corporation's reorganization and establishment.
