Automotive Engineering Corporation Successfully Hosts Forum on "Building Resilient Competitiveness in Automotive Engineering"
On the occasion of Automotive Engineering Corporation's 20th anniversary and the 40th anniversary of its predecessor institutes, AE Architectural Engineering Institute IV and V, entering the automotive industry, the themed forum on "Resilience, Intelligence, and Progress: Building Resilient Competitiveness in Automotive Engineering," hosted by Automotive Engineering Corporation, was successfully held in Tianjin on September 12–13. Focusing on industry frontiers and bringing together diverse expertise, this forum explored sustainable development pathways for the automotive engineering sector in an uncertain environment.

The forum attracted over 230 industry experts, automotive manufacturer representatives, and ecosystem partners from home and abroad to gather and exchange insights. Focusing on key topics such as intelligent manufacturing, zero-carbon factories, flexible production lines, and ecosystem collaboration, the participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest technology trends, shared practical experiences and innovative case studies, and jointly built industry consensus. The main forum on the morning of the 12th focused on "from macro trends to micro practices, from technological breakthroughs to ecosystem collaboration," featuring keynote speeches delivered by nine invited industry experts and corporate representatives. The speakers delivered a series of insightful and informative presentations on industry outlooks and development drivers under the new landscape, sparking enthusiastic responses from the audience. At the conclusion of the forum, Dai Min, Party Secretary and Chairman of Sinomach Automobile and Automotive Engineering Corporation, delivered a speech titled Building a Foundation with Resilience, Breaking through Difficulties with Intelligence, and Building Momentum with Progress. From multiple dimensions, including strategic vision, ecosystem collaboration, and capability development, he systematically outlined Automotive Engineering Corporation's implementation pathways and development blueprint for advancing together with customers and partners, leveraging resilience to meet challenges, and driving the future through intelligent transformation.

In the afternoon, four parallel sub-forums on welding, painting, general assembly, and casting & forging were held simultaneously. Focusing on process optimization, equipment innovation, and digital solutions, the four sub-forums featured a total of 29 specialized presentations. The interactive sessions were lively, with guests engaging in practical discussions on industry challenges and innovation pathways, offering numerous new insights for technological advancement and collaborative development in the sector.
The welding sub-forum focused on intelligent upgrading and resilient development of the industrial chain in the automotive welding sector. The seven presentations covered cutting-edge practices in intelligent manufacturing, flexible production, digital factories, and high-precision manufacturing, clearly outlining the technological roadmap and a new landscape for collaborative development.
The painting sub-forum focused on the intelligent transformation of painting technologies and ecosystem collaboration. The seven presentations covered business development, digital platform construction, planning innovation, core product systems, and intelligent manufacturing practices, driving the industry toward a new stage of greener and more flexible operations.
The general assembly sub-forum focused on the flexible, intelligent, and efficient upgrades of automotive general assembly systems. The eight presentations covered cutting-edge topics, including full-scenario intelligent manufacturing services, AGV production line practices, flexible capability development, digital platform applications, and carbon footprint management, aiming to build a new smart manufacturing ecosystem for automotive general assembly that is data-driven and sustainably evolving.
The casting & forging sub-forum focused on digital and intelligent factory development and lean equipment practices. The seven presentations covered high-end equipment and new processes in the casting field, pathways for building green and intelligent factories, AE Foundry Intelligent Operation System, intelligent molding lines, and smart cutting, shearing, and bending equipment, promoting high-quality development in the industry characterized by efficiency, sustainability, and intelligence.
Highlight 4: Two on-site experiences at bases

On the 13th, attendees were invited to visit two of Automotive Engineering Corporation's advanced automotive equipment R&D and manufacturing centers in Tianjin, where they conducted on-site inspections of the Company's latest achievements and innovative capabilities in intelligent equipment, green manufacturing processes, and digital solutions.
