AE Corporation Successfully Wins the Bid for Chery Auto's CKD Factory Project in Malaysia
Recently, Automotive Engineering Corporation successfully won the bid for the survey and design project of Chery's CKD factory in Malaysia. This project marks the first time that Automotive Engineering Corporation has fully undertaken the survey and engineering design tasks for a vehicle factory and component park in Malaysia, representing a breakthrough in the Company's business expansion in the Southeast Asian market. It holds significant importance for further deepening regional market cooperation and enhancing strategic influence.
The project plans to build a new CKD vehicle factory and component factory in Malaysia, with a total site area of approximately 800,000 square meters. The construction of the first phase of the vehicle factory includes core production facilities such as welding shops, paint shops, general assembly shops, and plastic parts paint shops, as well as supporting functional areas such as welding and painting corridors, test tracks, finished vehicle parking lots, and the shipping center. It also includes public auxiliary facilities such as catering centers, employee dormitories, security guards, and sewage treatment stations. In addition, a full industry chain parts shop will be planned to create an integrated industrial ecology.
The scope of design services undertaken by Automotive Engineering Corporation is comprehensive, including geological survey, scheme design (including process planning), construction drawing design, as well as approval-related design consulting services for each stage, such as planning, architecture, fire protection, safety, and environmental protection, providing full-process, integrated technical support for the project.
