Multiple Projects of Automotive Engineering Corporation Win the 2024 Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Achievement Award in Machinery Industry


Recently, the results of the "2024 Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Achievement Award in Machinery Industry" organized by the China Machinery Industry Survey and Design Association were announced. Automotive Engineering Corporation won a total of 7 awards in the "Industrial Design" category, including 3 first prizes, 2 second prizes, and 2 third prizes. The projects applying for awards are numerous and of high level. Automotive Engineering Corporation's ability to stand out among numerous excellent projects fully highlights the industry association's high recognition of its innovative spirit and technological level.

 

First prize

Xiaomi Automotive Intelligent Manufacturing Base Project

 

 

The project is located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, including a R&D test base, six shops specially built for new energy vehicles, and a test track with a total length of 2.5 km. It is an intelligent manufacturing park integrating R&D, production, sales, and experience. The Xiaomi Automotive factory is not only an important part of Xiaomi's technology strategic layout, but also plays an active role in promoting the development of the intelligent electric vehicle industry and social sustainability.

SAIC Motor's New Ningde Production Capacity Project with an Annual Output of 240,000 Passenger Vehicles

 

 

The project is located in Sanyu New Area Industrial Park, Ningde City, Fujian Province, with a construction land of inverted "L" shape. The project includes production shops and various supporting facilities for production and living. In the more than four years since the project was put into operation, more than 800,000 cars have been produced, driving the development of upstream-downstream industries and making significant contributions to the local economy and GDP growth. At the same time, it has provided employment positions for society and had a positive impact on the society, economy, and labor employment of Ningde City.

Xinqiao Intelligent Electric Vehicle Industrial Park (Phase I) Construction Project

 

 

The project is located in the Xinqiao Intelligent Electric Vehicle Industrial Park in Hefei City, Anhui Province, with a takt time of 60JPH and an annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles in dual shifts. The project has been awarded the world's first three-star design for green industrial buildings, LEED Gold Award for environmentally friendly buildings, and three certifications for zero carbon buildings, making it one of the most technologically advanced, well-designed, and environmentally friendly automotive factories in the world.

Relocation Project for Special-purpose Vehicles and Non-road Vehicles of Guangxi Automobile Group

 

 

The project is located in the China-Europe Industrial Park, Liudong New District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and is constructed in two phases. This project has won the second prize of "Haihe Cup" BIM Application Award issued by the Tianjin Exploration and Design Association and the achievement award of second category for BIM Technology Steel Structure Enclosure 3D Node Special Application issued by the Tianjin Construction Industry Association, and has been highly praised by customers.

Kaide New Energy Industrialization Base EPC Project

 

 

The project is located in the Knowledge City of Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. By relying on its profound experience in the automotive industry and closely focusing on customer demands and giving further consideration to the geographical environment and climate conditions of the place where the project is located in, Automotive Engineering Corporation has carefully planned and implemented targeted technical solutions. After completion of the project, it won high praise from the customer for both its external image and internal functions, and was awarded the only "Best Partner" honor by the customer.

Zhejiang Geely Automobile's (Changxing New Energy) Project with an Annual Production of 150,000 Passenger Cars

 

 

The project is a base built by Geely Auto to produce global extended-range pure electric vehicles and extended-range hybrid vehicles. It is not only a 4.0 factory and quality benchmark project that Geely Auto strives to build, but also the first 5G smart future factory in the domestic automotive manufacturing industry. With its abundant advantages of EPC mode, Automotive Engineering Corporation closely integrates design and construction, which greatly enhances the overall image of the building. With the successful implementation of the project, Automotive Engineering Corporation was awarded the "Excellent Supplier Award" by Geely Auto.

Shaanxi Automobile Xi'an Cummins Relocation Project

 

 

The project is the unique joint venture one for R&D and production of commercial vehicle engines in northwest China. Xi'an Cummins adheres to the vision and mission of "serving Shaanxi Automobile, rooting in Economic Development Zone, keeping a foothold in Xi'an, and assisting development of Shaanxi". Through the successful implementation of the project, the production capacity of Cummins engines has been increased from 30,000 to 50,000 sets, greatly enhancing the core competitiveness of Xi'an's automotive industry and promoting the high-quality development of the local automotive industry.
