Multiple Projects of Automotive Engineering Corporation Have Been Awarded Honors for Their Excellent Quality


Recently, multiple projects of Automotive Engineering Corporation have been awarded honors for their excellent quality. The "Product Upgrade Project (Dadong Factory Area) NEX Vehicle Body Shop (Phase II) of BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd." won the 2024 Sinomach Project Quality Award, and the "R&D and Application of Green, Efficient and Intelligent Equipment Technologies for High-end Vehicles" and "R&D and Application of Key Technologies for New Equipment in High-end Automobile Production Lines" projects respectively won the Silver Award and Excellence Award of the "Hangyang Cup" 3rd National Machinery Industry Product Quality Innovation Competition jointly organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation and Sinomach.

 

The awards granted by Sinomach for excellent quality of projects in 2024 aim to cultivate projects with leading quality, innovative technologies, excellent brand, and outstanding benefits within the Group. The "Product Upgrade Project (Dadong Factory Area) NEX Vehicle Body Shop (Phase II) of BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd.", which won the award this time, is characterized by "high efficiency, energy saving, green environmental protection, humanization, informatization, land conservation, maximum flexibility, high reliability, modularity, and BIM application". In this project, advanced domestic and international design standards were adopted, and multiple innovative technologies and management modes for design, construction, and quality management were applied. It won the 2022-2023 National Quality Engineering Award, and the project quality reached the international advanced level.

The "Hangyang Cup" 3rd National Machinery Industry Product Quality Innovation Competition aims to select and promote high-quality products that are independently innovated and their quality solutions, and promote the improvement of the quality brand of the machinery industry. In the "R&D and Application of Green, Efficient and Intelligent Equipment Technologies for High-end Vehicles" project, which won the silver award in the competition, world-class innovative technologies such as the new energy-saving drying oven system, high-pressure cleaning equipment, and optimized integration solutions for industrial robots were developed and applied. By creating a green intelligent platform, deep carbon and emission reduction were achieved, and the technical quality indicators of the engineering products reached the international advanced level of high-end passenger vehicles.

In the "R&D and Application of Green, Efficient and Intelligent Equipment Technologies for High-end Vehicles" project that won the Excellence Award, innovative technologies (such as the AGV system that is pioneered and applied for body conveying in the minor repair area of the paint shop, and the new non-skid conveying system, automatic foaming system, automatic door wax injection system, and automatic chassis wax injection system) are adopted to comprehensively improved quality of the project, and have won high recognition from multiple parties.
