The First Batch of Process Equipment of Astana Motor Manufacture Kazakhstan's Multi-Brand Automobile Factory Was Installed on Site
On September 10, Astana Motor Manufacture Kazakhstan's (AMMKZ) Multi-Brand Automobile Factory saw an important milestone. The first batch of process equipment developed and manufactured by Automotive Engineering Corporation was delivered to the project site for installation. To this end, a brief but ceremonious celebration was held on the project site, with the attendance of Mr. Maxim, General Manager of China Brand of Astana Motor, Jia Xijun, General Manager of Automotive Engineering Corporation, Chen Yong, Deputy General Manager of Automotive Engineering Corporation, as well as both teams and representatives of relevant participants.
The AMMKZ Multi-Brand Automobile Factory is the first modern automobile manufacturing plant supported by Kazakhstan, with a design production capacity of 25 JPH. Automotive Engineering Corporation entered into a contract with Astana Motor on May 18, 2023, during the China-Central Asia Xi'an Summit, where Automotive Engineering Corporation undertook the planning and supply of welding, coating, and general assembly equipment for the project.
With the arrival of the first batch of equipment, the project officially went to the phase of equipment installation. In the next 120 days, the rest of the equipment will be delivered to the site on schedule. Automotive Engineering Corporation will build high-level and intelligent production lines in strict accordance with agreements and technical standards and cooperate closely with the Owner and contractors of equipment installation to guarantee the quality and success of the installation and commissioning.
During their stay in Kazakhstan, Jia Xijun and his party had an in-depth communication with Mr. Nurlan Smagulov, Founder of ASTANA Automobile Group, and Mr. Beknur Nesipbayev, CEO of Astana Motor. Both parties were highly satisfied with the cooperation and progress since the launch of the project. Nurlan Smagulov restated the importance of the project and his trust in Automotive Engineering Corporation and went into a discussion on the next step of equipment manufacturing, transportation, installation, and commissioning. Both parties were convinced that the project would be completed and put into production on schedule through their joint efforts.
Besides, Jia Xijun and his party had several meetings with the AMMKZ team, civil contractor, local designing institute, installation contractor, and other parties to put heads together for solutions for current issues to facilitate the construction progress.
As a project witnessed by the governments of both countries at the 2023 China-Central Asia Summit, the AMMKZ Multi-Brand Automobile Factory is not only a typical project of the cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in the automotive field but also an important part of the overseas strategy of Automotive Engineering Corporation. Automotive Engineering Corporation will firmly promote its overseas strategy and develop overseas markets in depth, including Central Asian countries, to provide Chinese solutions for the development of the automobile industry in other countries and regions and contribute the wisdom of Automotive Engineering Corporation.
