Volvo Chengdu & Daqing Painting Shop (General Contract) Project
AE takes the responsibility for the general contracting of VOLVO's two major production bases, the Chengdu base and the Daqing base, which were put into service respectively in 2013 and 2015. The two bases produce S60L, XC60, XC90 and S90, with a total annual output of 360,000 vehicles. Both bases adopt full-auto water-based gluing process and water-based spraying process. The processes and devices meet Volvo's standards and reach the international advanced level. In 2013, the two bases won the Prize for Global Best Suppliers of Volvo. AE undertook the Polestar Chengdu Plant Production Line Project in March 2018 and finished it by the end of 2018, with high-end electric racing cars as the products.
