it is to build an intelligent plant in accordance with the planning concept of "flexibility, digitization, automation and datamation", the new four modernization. The designed cycle time is 60JPH. The project meets the collinear flexible production of multiple models from two-seat A00 class to seven-seat full-size SUV/MPV, and initiates the integral combination assembly process with double inlets and double outlets to meet the process requirements for production with high cycle time;
the project includes the supply of conveying equipment and line-edge process equipment in the General Assembly Shop, Cab Assembly Shop and Testing & Commissioning Shop. The production capacity of the General Assembly Shop and the Testing & Commissioning Shop is 10JPH, and the capacity of the Cab Assembly Shop is 20JPH. The project products cover light trucks, medium trucks and heavy trucks. The flexible production is achieved by integrating conveying equipment and line-edge equipment.
This project is the first overseas cooperation project between AE and SGMW, as well as AE's first General Contract Project integrating whole-plant public civil engineering and production line. The Painting Shop is one of the core contents and is the first to adopt digital technologies like simulated installation and simulated debugging, thus is safe, reliable, environment-friendly and energy-saving. This project has a high level of construction and a short cycle and is the pioneer of the new establishment model of overseas automobile plants.
AE assists SGMW in constructing four major production bases in China, i.e. Liuzhou (Hexi and Baojun), Qingdao and Chongqing. Wherein, Baojun base and Chongqing base are of whole-plant general contracting. The total run at rate is 438JPH. The plant is capable of producing 2.9 million vehicles a year. The production processes follow the general global standards for Painting processes and passenger cars to realize flexible, lean and green production. With AE's efficient management and quality products, SGMW strongly guarantees the position as the first domestic enterprise reaching an annual output of 2 million vehicles in 2015. It won the medals for "the Best Partner of the Decade" and "the Thousands of Road Honor Award" issued by SGMW.
