P519 is a type of SUV released in the Chengdu plant of the brand Polestar of Volvo. AE undertook the front cover, wings, front and rear doors, rear bumper and adjustment line areas of this project. This project adopts the mode of random flexible production and the idea of lean production, covers spot welding, gluing, hemming, edge rolling, laser flight welding, carbon fiber harness and other processes and technologies. Currently, this project has completed MTO1 and is planned to proceed to SOP in April 2022.
Polestar is a high-performance road car brand subordinate to Volvo Car Group. Polestar 1 is a high-performance hybrid-power racing car type of this brand that is put into mass production in China.<br> The lower structure of Polestar 1 is steel body while the upper structure is carbon fiber composite material. The car body adopts carbon fiber, reducing the weight by 230kg, increasing the torsional rigidity of car body by 45%, largely lowering the center of gravity of the car and improving the car's operability. This project includes flexible manual spot welding, flexible robot spot welding, flexible robot stud welding, flexible robot gluing, two-component gluing, carbon fiber bonding and curing process and passed the final acceptance in January 2020.
BYD Automobile Co., Ltd. and AE carried out in-depth cooperation in the field of welding in the four major bases in Shenzhen, Xi'an, Changsha and Changzhou. They undertook BYD automatic main welding line in 2014. From then on, they gradually expanded and deepened the scope of cooperation. At present, AE has successively undertaken bases of BYD Automobile stage-II sub-assembly automatic flexible line, stage-I sub-assembly automatic flexible line, lower car body flexibility, lower car body repair welding line, main welding line, top cover line, car body repair welding line, adjustment line, FDS, EMS, clamp flexibly library, the arc welding station for small parts and other projects. BYD Automobile's best-sellers, Qin, Qin plus, Qin pro, Han, Tang, Song, Song Max, D1, e2 and e3, are all manufactured by using the production lines constructed by AE.
Lynk 09 is the type of high-end brand Lynk 09 put on the market by Geely Auto Group, type code: EX11. AE undertook this project's side wall inner plate flexible line, side wall outer plate flexible line, top cover line, airborne APC and FDS conveying lines. This project covers processes like online punching, spot welding, gluing and CMT Braze+ and devices like cross sliding table, gravity sliding table and ultrasonic gun cleaner. With the great efforts of each member of the project group, this project has proceeded to the trial production phase.
