AE Attends the 11th NEV Engineering Conference
On July 7, AMTS 2026 opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. AE was invited to attend the concurrent NEV Engineering 2026, with its expert team delivering keynote speeches at the main forum and the sub-forums on body shop, paint shop, and general assembly. During the exhibition, AE's "AE-iCube High-Takt Flexible RGV Stereoscopic Warehouse" system solution received the A+Awards "New Quality Productive Forces Pilot Award" at the conference.
Mr. Yao Lepeng, Deputy General Manager of AE, delivered a keynote speech titled "From 'Equipment Going Global' to 'Empowerment through Systems' — AE's Exploration and Practice in Supporting the Globalization of China's Automotive Industry" at the main forum. Yao elaborated on three core dimensions — "Following the Trend, Breaking the Deadlock, and Co-creation" — and pointed out that the global automotive industry is entering a period of profound transformation driven by electrification and intelligence. In the face of challenges such as disruptive technological changes, customers' pursuit of ultimate experience, and the resilience of overseas supply chains, AE is leveraging its digital service platform integrated with AI and digital twin technologies to shift from the traditional "turnkey" engineering model to a deep strategic cooperation system centered on value co-creation and full-lifecycle services, driving industrial transformation through all-round synergy.
At the sub-forums on body, paint, and general assembly, AE's experts in relevant fields shared technical achievements and practical applications on cutting-edge solutions, including high-precision intelligent joining technologies for the body, green digital-intelligent paint systems, and efficient intelligent chassis assembly. During the event, the head of AE's body technology department was also invited to participate in a roundtable discussion at the body sub-forum, exchanging views with fellow experts on the research and application of AI-empowered body welding.
