Automotive Engineering Corporation Attends SCZONE Investment Promotion Conference
On July 24, the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) Investment Promotion Conference, co-organized by Hangzhou's foreign economic and trade authorities and industry associations, was held in Hangzhou. Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of SCZONE, also attended the event. Automotive Engineering Corporation was invited to present its Hainaway Egypt Luggage Factory Design Project as a representative example of the company's engineering service capabilities in the region.
Located in the West Qantara Industrial Zone of SCZONE, the Hainaway Egypt Project covers a construction area of approximately 90,000 square meters. Automotive Engineering Corporation is responsible for providing concept planning, engineering design, and other consulting services. The project commenced in January 2025 and will serve internationally renowned brands such as Samsonite, Delsey, Swiss Gear, and Travelite. Once in operation, it will significantly enhance the global competitiveness of Egypt's luggage manufacturing industry, create substantial employment opportunities, and inject sustained momentum into the region's economic growth.
In recent years, China and Egypt have continuously advanced industrial investment cooperation under the "Belt and Road Initiative." Automotive Engineering Corporation will further deepen its engineering and technical services in Egypt and other overseas markets, contributing to the global expansion of Chinese enterprises.
