Jiangmen Zetara Power Production and R&D Base officially commences operations

Recently, the Jiangmen Zetara Power Production and R&D Base project, designed and EPC-contracted by Automotive Engineering Corporation, completed trial operations and officially entered production.

The project has a total investment of CNY634 million, with a total site area of approximately 60 mu and a total construction area of about 79,000 square meters. Its core construction content includes the production facilities of 5GWh energy storage battery cells and their energy storage systems, as well as supporting administrative offices and living service facilities.

During project execution, Automotive Engineering Corporation strictly adhered to Industry 4.0 standards, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as BIM digital modeling and prefabricated construction, significantly enhancing engineering efficiency and quality. The project incorporates multiple green features including intelligent fire protection systems and photovoltaic-integrated roofs, which can achieve a 30% reduction in comprehensive energy consumption. The cleanroom's constant temperature & humidity control system and explosion-proof electrical installations all exceed industry standards for critical performance indicators.

As a key regional new energy project, the factory will introduce globally leading energy storage battery production lines, specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of lithium batteries with high energy density and long cycle life. With an estimated annual output value exceeding CNY2 billion, its successful operation will further enhance Jiangmen City's layout in new energy batteries and supporting industries, injecting new momentum into the region's development of a comprehensive lithium battery ecosystem spanning the entire life cycle and complete industrial chain.

Automotive Engineering Corporation will continue to seize development opportunities in the Greater Bay Area, deepen its expertise in the new energy sector, and contribute to achieving China's "dual carbon" strategic goals through more technological breakthroughs and high-quality projects.
