Dai Min Investigates BYD Thailand Factory Project
To scientifically formulate Automotive Engineering Corporation's "15th Five-Year Plan", improve overseas strategic deployment, and advance market layout in Southeast Asia, on April 17th, Dai Min, Chairman of Sinomach Automobile and Automotive Engineering Corporation, conducted an inspection and investigation at the BYD Thailand factory project.
During the investigation of the phase I project production workshops, Dai Min thoroughly understood the operational state of the production lines, focusing particularly on core production metrics such as output and operation rates. In the review of the assembly line renovation project, workplace safety became a major topic of discussion. The project team reported on the execution of safety approval processes, standards for managing hot work operations, and holiday safety measures. At the site of the phase II expansion project, Dai Min comprehensively understood the progress of construction, resource allocation, and personnel arrangements, emphasizing the importance of ensuring engineering quality and safety, maintaining the excellent delivery outcomes of phase I, applying innovative practices and experience summaries to new project construction, and deepening strategic mutual trust with clients.
In the project meeting, heads of various business sectors reported on current work progress. The meeting focused on reviewing key issues encountered during project implementation, systematically analyzing the strategic positioning of the project, transformation of corporate roles, and root causes of problems. Discussions delved into effective paths for enhancing overseas management capabilities and shared comprehensive plans, fundamental principles, and market positioning for the company's overseas business development. Through multidimensional analysis of goals and current capability status, participants gained new insights into market development strategies and improvements in internationalization capabilities.
This survey provided significant guidance for the development of Automotive Engineering Corporation's overseas business. It will deepen the integration of localized resources and innovation practices overseas, accelerate the improvement of overseas business management mechanisms, and support the new blueprint of the company's "15th Five-Year Plan" strategy through regional in-depth cultivation.
