It can realize the mixed-line production of 5 wheelbase models, and the production has been officially started on April 1, 2020.

The production capacity of the project is designed to 30JPH, and the products are Volvo S60 SPA and PHEV (S60). It has been officially put into production in August 2018. The success of the project has accumulated rich experience for the company to expand the North American market.
The construction site of the project is located in Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, including Phase I and Phase II Works in the factory area of the SAIC Passenger Vehicle (Zhengzhou) Base. The total land area of Phase I project is about 94.63 hectares ( about 1,420 mu), and the total construction area is 400,000 square meters; The Phase II project covers an area of 1,600 mu and its total construction area is 540,000 square meters. The annual production capacity of the new plant of Phase II is 240,000 passenger vehicles.
