AE takes the responsibility for the general contracting of VOLVO's two major production bases, the Chengdu base and the Daqing base, which were put into service respectively in 2013 and 2015. The two bases produce S60L, XC60, XC90 and S90, with a total annual output of 360,000 vehicles. Both bases adopt full-auto water-based gluing process and water-based spraying process. The processes and devices meet Volvo's standards and reach the international advanced level. In 2013, the two bases won the Prize for Global Best Suppliers of Volvo. AE undertook the Polestar Chengdu Plant Production Line Project in March 2018 and finished it by the end of 2018, with high-end electric racing cars as the products.
Foton Daimler H6 Painting Project (under construction) <br> Based on the global platform strategy for Daimler truck and the goal of "exclusively made in China", this project produces and sells Mercedes-Benz tractors and brand new heavy tractors in China. Project location: No. 3 Foton Daimler Plant, Huairou District, Beijing. The production line includes vehicle body line, line of plastic parts and stereoscopic warehouse, with a total run at rate of 14JPH. The pre-treated electrophoreses adopt upender for delivery. The Painting supply system is a high-efficiency energy-saving Pig system. The spray booth adopts the latest generation-III dry-type carton system for Painting mist treatment. The production line was designed and constructed fully in accordance with the global standard Daimler I6.
SGMW Indonesia Painting Shop (General Contracting) <br> This project is the first overseas cooperation project between AE and SGMW, as well as AE's first General Contract Project integrating whole-plant public civil engineering and production line. The Painting Shop is one of the core contents and is the first to adopt digital technologies like simulated installation and simulated debugging, thus is safe, reliable, environment-friendly and energy-saving. This project has a high level of construction and a short cycle and is the pioneer of the new establishment model of overseas automobile plants.
AE assists SGMW in constructing four major production bases in China, i.e. Liuzhou (Hexi and Baojun), Qingdao and Chongqing. Wherein, Baojun base and Chongqing base are of whole-plant general contracting. The total run at rate is 438JPH. The plant is capable of producing 2.9 million vehicles a year. The production processes follow the general global standards for Painting processes and passenger cars to realize flexible, lean and green production. With AE's efficient management and quality products, SGMW strongly guarantees the position as the first domestic enterprise reaching an annual output of 2 million vehicles in 2015. It won the medals for "the Best Partner of the Decade" and "the Thousands of Road Honor Award" issued by SGMW.
