BMW Lydia&F100 Painting Equipment General Contract Project
Lydia&F100 Project is a green, energy-saving and innovative benchmark plant for Painting in line with the highest standards and is established by the BMW Group. Automotive Engineering Corporation (AE) provides BMW with high-end technical devices for functions like AGV vehicle body conveying, robot waxing & foaming and marking defects on vehicle body with laser, as well as multiple energy-saving devices for purposes like skid-free carrying and exhaust waste heat recovery. As a result, this project is one of the most advanced Painting workshops globe-wide. The current project implementation effects have won the unanimous praise of BMW customers, consolidating the strategic cooperation between this project and the BMW Group and largely driving forward the establishment of AE's international brand influences, the exploitation of AE's overseas markets and the improvement of management technical standards.

Beijing Benz Shunyi Painting Shop Project
Shunyi Plant, as the first Benz plant for all types of full-electric vehicles in China, is transformed and improved in accordance with Daimler technical and management standards to comply with the new requirements on process planning, human-computer design, environmental protection, high efficiency, flexibility, intellectualization, etc. The Painting project is a complex and large-scale overall transformation project. It adopts process 3C2B is changed to water-based IPII process and adds water-based wax injection process, wax drying process and foaming process. The project achieves 100% automatic Painting spraying and 90% automatic gluing through robot modification and realizes green and environment-friendly production by adopting high-efficiency energy-saving devices, e.g. dry-type Painting mist collection device, purified water regeneration system, exhaust gas concentrating runner, air conditioning, circulating and heat recovery device and the heat recovery device of exhaust incinerator.

Volkswagen Group Argentine Plant Painting Shop Project
It is located at the Pacheco Industrial Center in the capital of Argentina and produces Amarok, Terak and other types of vehicles of MQB platform. Run at rate: 32JPH. It adopts new technologies and new devices, such as water-based intermediate coating-free process, full-auto spraying, AE's 2nd-gen dry-type spray booth and dehumidifying heat pump. In December 2020, the operation of this plant officially commenced as the President of Argentina visited this plant in person, making this plant a model for international project cooperation with the idea of "faster, better and cheaper"

As a response to the Xinjiang establishment strategy with national efforts, SAIC Volkswagen implemented the "Western Strategy" by establishing a company in Xinjiang to exert its advantageous passenger vehicle manufacturing technologies and quality products and meet the local increasing needs for passenger vehicles. This project is located at the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone in Urumqi Municipality and is SAIC Volkswagen's first Painting shop General Contract Project undertaken by domestic suppliers. Its production line adopts complete procedures and advanced processes and has a mature, reliable and highly automatic design, meeting the requirements for the body coating quality of mid-to-high-end sedans. The workshop production management system is highly informationized, with comprehensive inspection and test approaches, providing workers with proper safety conditions and realizing the thorough elimination of "three wastes (wastewater, waste gas, waste solids)". This workshop represents the top level of China's domestic automotive equipment manufacturing industry. The SOP of this project passed the certification for process, quality, environmental protection and safety as per the SAIC Volkswagen's global unified standard in November 2014 and passed the acceptance inspection in July 2015.
